Welcome to the Art of Dan Tearle. Dan is an artist from Lichfield, England and specialises in quality, affordable pieces of art depicting sports and pop culture subjects. He has been painting for over 30 years and has built up a vast customer base over that time. Dan specalises in sports art, particularly American Football, and also paints Star Wars™ themed pieces including his popular vintage action figure series. Dan has also provided artwork for many trading card companies, including Topps®, RRParks and Upper Deck™. Dan works with a combination of airbrushed acrylic ink, gouache paint and coloured pencil, a style that he has developed over the last three decades. Realistic yet painterly, vibrant subjects are Dan's favourite things to paint, although he will generally have a try at anything if it is interesting!
